Brighter Directions have welcomed government funding for a scheme which aims to improve the leadership skills of managers.
Earlier this month, Skills Minister John Hayes announced the leadership and management development grant scheme.
About 13,000 small and medium-sized businesses and social enterprises that demonstrate potential for growth will benefit from the grant.
Stephen Smith, chief executive of enterprise and economic development company EMB, in Raynesway, said: "The scheme is a great opportunity for senior leaders of locally-based small and medium-sized enterprises."
